04-14-09 update:

Things have been ugly! Everyone is aware of the bad economy, but for us in the construction industry such as architects like myself, things have been VERY ugly. I've basically seen 16 years of business be destroyed in 3 months. I know--I know: other people have it just as bad or worse, but I miss being able to have fun with anime and enjoy this site. Working 12-15 hours a day and making a pittance has rotted my brain.

Arm has gotten better, but I have long way to go.

POSITIVE NOTE: I was incorrect about the new martial art I learned. The Burmese form of kickboxing is called Lethwei, which is pretty much Muay Thai with the accelerator mashed to the floor. I've recently begun teaching Lethwei and am having a blast.

I'm still in school but have taken on more insanity. Currently, I've entered this hell (in order): 1) Finish Assoc. in Comp. Sci.-Programming 2) Finish prerequisites for Masters in Math 3) Complete Masters in Math 4) Complete Masters in Structural Engineering 5) Become licensed PE (professional engineer).

WTF am I thinking?

I HAVE FOUND A NEW ANIME THE MEETS MY CRITERIA: Sekirei. Holy Big Hooters! This anime is great--lots and lots of big ole bouncing boobs and other gratuitous fanservice. Plus, chicks who beat the crap out of each other. I'm in Heaven.

I'm still in love with Clare and want a Revy Real-doll. I will say this: Appleseed Ex Machina about made me poop my pants. I have NEVER seen anything as incredible as that. ALL anime should be made at that standard. Heck, the SFX in Appleseed Ex Machina establish the de factor standard for SFX in ALL movies.

NEW COOL STUFF:

Learned Lethwei (Burmese boxing)! I was on the <Dear, God, I'm going to die!< accelerated program. This wasn't any goofy American stuff but straight from a Burmese village version. Due to the gut-wrenching initial training and my 20 years of previous martial art experience, I learned all the stuff in 3 months. Skill-wise, I'm about where someone with 2 years of experience would be. Hard as hell to learn at 42.

Old shit--New Random shit: 1) I've been practicing/teaching Sum Nung Wing Chun Kung Fu for 16 years, but I'm in no condition to do an MMA fight. That sucks. I was looking forward to throttling some pinheads. 2) I own a 2007 blue Corvette, a red Dodge Ram, and bought a black Chevy Equinox in December 3) My wife is 19 years younger than me :) 4) I'm a flirt and completely amoral, and I like BIG, BIG hooters. 5) I have a full upper body gothic/tribal tattoo.

Please note: I AM a zombie killing expert. If you happen to be attacked by zombies, I'm your go-to-guy. To all the people who talk to me via comment and post--the old man appreciates it!

This was a helluva image to create. I took multiple screens shots in sequence and overlaid them. Once I developed some alignment, I used the Clone and Smudge Tools in PS3 to <paint< the image and remove text and other anomalies, using a mouse of all things. I really didn't like the Blood+ series, but this particular OP was incredible. The image wasn't approved by AP, so I thought I show it here. NOTE: I may mess with my wife's Wacom Art-tab and fix this up a bit, time permitting.
